Katara's Necklace for Gothic-Phantom-Zero

As screen-accurate a rendition of Katara's necklace from Avatar: The Last Airbender as I could manage, commissioned by ~Gothic-Phantom-Zero.

I am crazy happy with how this turned out, and also really glad that it is done. It took an hour just to drill the damn hole for the bail, and then three more hours to make the bail itself. The pendant is real stone, not polymer clay or resin or any of that sort of thing.

Tools & Materials: Blue aventurine, printer, paper, swivelling craft knife, clear tape, black permanent marker, Dremel rotary tool, small round diamond burrs, conical burrs, scrap of flannel cloth, paint thinner, dark blue porcelain paint, glittery blue porcelain paint, clear porcelain varnish, baking sheet, oven, bench vise, brass sheet, round wire, parallel-jaw and square-nose pliers, assorted metal files, hard and soft silver solder and flux, jury-rigged soldering clamp I made out of two old rivet stems and some baling wire, 1mm drill bit, Brasso metal polish, brass scratch-brush, blue satin ribbon, magnetic clasp, black elastic, fabric glue, superglue, metallic blue thread, Singer sewing machine, clothes iron, small sewing needle.
