TrebleFlake by ChimeraDragonfang TrebleFlake by ChimeraDragonfang
One of my roommates started cutting out paper snowflakes to stick in the window, so I figured I might as well join in the fun. Beats doing homework. So since almost my entire apartment (hell, almost that entire half of the third floor) are Musical Instrument Repair students, and just music geeks in general, I made music-related snowflakes. Kind of carries on from the eighth- and sixteenth-note flakes that I made as decorations for a band concert in high school, only these ones are better.

This one was a bit challenging. I used just nail scissors for this one. Didn't remember that I had a perfect knife for the job until after the fact. The knife definitely makes the cutting easier.

I agree, it's much easier with knives rather than scissors. Especially if you're left-handed, there aren't many left-hand scissors around.

Get Fiskars scissors. They're designed to be used in either hand. Which is great for ambidextrous people like me: when one hand gets tired, switch to the other.
