1:21:19:25.53 render time for this bitty thing. Yes, that is 1 day, 21 hours, 19 minutes and 25.53 seconds.
My previous longest render time was about eleven hours. This here is a smaller zoomed piece of some of the out-of-frame stuff in Beyond the Event Horizon, which was a total bitch to render too, so I guess I'm not too surprised.
I know I've read about faster ways of rendering large fractals, but I don't remember what they are. 8GB of RAM is supposed to make this shit go quick.
