Avatar: The Last Airbender Stones, White Glass by ChimeraDragonfang Avatar: The Last Airbender Stones, White Glass by ChimeraDragonfang
I have never watched this show. It seems I just go "Ooh, those designs would be neat to engrave!" and then I go engrave that shit. These were nice and simple and a good break from the somewhat more complex stuff I've been doing as of late. Black glass versions will be forthcoming in the next day or two.

I really need to put some of my shitload of engraving stuff up for trade or whatever because I have way too goddamn many of these things taking up space in my room. :stare:

Time Spent: Fifteen minutes each for engraving, plus another fifteen minutes per stone for painting and paint clean-up. A huge difference from the usual one or more hours I can spend per stone with the detailed designs.

Tools & Materials: Computer, paper, printer, clear packing tape, scotch tape, sheet of scrap cardboard, swivelling craft knife, white glass stones, black permanent marker, Dremel with flexshaft, small round diamond burr, paint thinner/remover, water, soap, porcelain paint, dental pick, baking sheet, oven.

They've been turned into necklaces, which are for sale. -> Avatar Necklaces by ChimeraDragonfang

I like this, simple but beautiful. Like you said, glass work often takes hours on end, so it's nice to see a quick project.

Ha, yeah. :D At this point anything that I can engrave in under thirty minutes counts as a 'quick' project.

It's something I'm looking into, yes. There are just certain logistical difficulties involved that need working out first, since I'd prefer it to be a video tutorial.

....Never...watched...?

THIS MUST BE RECTIFIED.

Or maybe not because there are a buttload of patterns in Avatar that you will be tempted to engrave and you will NEVER STOP.

You've seen the Mass Effect stones. :B BRING IT ON. Except not really because that'll be another project on the pile. Unless they're simple line-based patterns, like these, in which case they'll go pretty quickly and provide a nice break from complicated shit.
